All Roads Lead To Me

Between mean and selfish people,
where feelings have no place to dwell
where emotions have to find an abode to hide
where every expectation becomes a need
where your innocence is taken for granted
where your simplicity is raped every moment

I have to find my light in my God...in myself....
....All roads will lead to me

Nights are long, days just pass by
Mornings are placidly calm, bright sun rays perforating through the misty clouds....and the dew drops on the grass appear like pearls.
As I walk through the day, to embrace the nature into my arms ....evening enfolds into its serene mystery....darkness holds me, evening pauses, pain doesnot lessen, tears no more fall...

But I have to find my light in my God...in myself....
....All roads will lead to me

One more cup of coffee lying on the table
Rain drops strumming their magical song
The water splashing on the window pane
....nostalgia arresting me tight....
my mind still stuck on the diminished note

Then this little girl dancing in the rain outside....
Ignorant of the complexities of a human mind...
Opens her mouth wide under the sky
Smiling away to glory....
Instilling a faith in me....for no reason...:)

And I see a light in myself....All roads lead to me

Smiling on the little things....trivial minds, quibbling matters,
I wave back the time and walk pass ahead.....

All roads led to me!!

hmmm...but looks like you are not yet on some road...or is the road too long? i hope you dont fall off it too often and reach the goal soon...

btw, the reference to mom in my poem...well...when men get a little sad, i suppose its natural that they think of the women in their lives...the ones who matter...i could only mention my mom out in the open! ;) the rest of the them are mine to hide till the grave...hoho! and thanks for the comment.
